National Library Week/National Poetry Month - Wordeater Open Mic Program In-Person
In celebration of libraries and poetry, join JJC students involved with our literary magazine, Wordeater, and Joliet's Poet Laureate, Uxmar Torres, for a poetry reading. After, the public is welcomed to share their poems via Open Mic. Refreshments will be served. All our welcome.
Attendees are invited to stay for a tour of the Library to learn about the Library Technical Assistance Certificate Program at 3 pm.
Residents of District 525 who are 18 years of age or older are encouraged to obtain a JJC Community Patron Library Card while visiting. Just present a valid photo ID with your current address at the Library's Circulation Desk to get one.
For more information, please contact the Library at 815-280-2344 or librarian@jjc.edu.
