Film: Lies, Politics, and Democracy in Library Event Area In-Person

Election & Voting Film Series Description: Join us in the Library Event area to view and discuss films centered on voting rights and related topics. Feel free to bring your own covered drink, snack or lunch.

  • A Q & A and panel discussion of the movie will follow a viewing of Lies, Politics and Democracy on Tuesday September 17th at 3:00 PM in the Library Events area. 
  • Refreshments will be provided for the November 5th Election Day Selma film event and returns viewing. See full description for more details.

 

Lies, Politics, and Democracy:  The political leaders and choices they made have undermined and threatened American democracy. This 2 hour documentary special examines how officials fed the public lies about the 2020 presidential election and embraced rhetoric that led to political violence.
