National Poetry Month: Focus on Ferlinghetti Online
Poet and publisher, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, died on February 22 at the age of 101. He was most closely associated with the Beat Poets and his bookstore, City Lights, was a gathering place for writers and those interested in social change. Join JJC Professor of English and poet, Bill Yarrow, and a number of guest poets and speakers, as they read and discuss some of their favorite Ferlinghetti poems in celebration of his life.
