Using cutting-edge technologies, along with tried-and-true techniques, as a Library Technical Assistant (LTA) you will unite people, data, and materials in our changing information environment. JJC’s online certificate program recognizes the need for skilled paraprofessionals in today’s libraries, offering students the opportunity to acquire, develop or update their job skills.

The program consists of 9 courses, 8 of which are fully online, for a total of 26 credit hours. Online courses offer synchronous and asynchronous learning. The capstone course is an in-person practicum at a library local to you. Join us!
